A yeast sensor of ligand binding
Article Abstract:
The authors describe a biosensor tthat reports the binding of small-molecule ligands to proteins as changes in growth of temerature-sensitive yeast. They provide a simple and inexpensive method of selecting novel ligands and ligand-binding domains.
