Five service delivery models for global human resources management processes are discussed. The progress of HR from a transactional function to one that drives business results is studied. Determinants include finance, cultural readiness, and HR service requirements.

Business leaders from Hewlett-Packard, FivePoint Federal Credit Union, Cerium Laboratories LLC, and Endevco Corporation initiated organizational change through storytelling. They used metaphors, road maps, and personal stories to convey the message to employees.
