Great Britain's IGGBA and ARGO merge to create new Remote Gambling Association

The Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association (IGGBA) and the Association of Remote Gambling Operators (ARGO) have decided to combine and form a new Remote Gambling Association (RGA). The new association will have all the rights shared by the two trade associations and will manage issues regarding regulators, legislators and key decision makers.

Carole Sjolander, the Executive Director and Ray Sjolander, the Director of Finance and Trade Shows for the International Association For Leisure and Entertainment Industry (IALEI) are retiring at the end of 2005. The two worked well to develop the industry since its start in 1993.
