Insurance at Lloyd's
Article Abstract:
Lloyd's of London faces overcapacity in the insurance market and not all Lloyd's companies are performing as well as expected. Quoted companies also wish to pay as little as they can to names for underwriting capacity. Integrated Lloyd's vehicles include LIMIT which is the best set up vehicle in a number of ways. Overcapacity means that premiums are not high enough, though Lloyd's may argue that it has underwriting skills and is in a specialised market.
