Silicon Graphics Inc. - SGI
Article Abstract:
Silicon Graphics Inc makes and services computer systems with design analysis and simulation applications. Ten insiders reportedly disposed of over 370,000 shares at $27.88. Six insiders, however, still sold 99,400 shares in Jan 1993 at an average price of $32.30 despite an evident stock growth. A trust led by Pres Edward McCracken also sold 100,000 shares at $31. A guarded outlook is advised for the stock considering the reliability of insiders' actions.

Hewlett-Packard Company
Article Abstract:
Thirteen officers of Hewlett-Packard Co have sold a total 35,854 shares of their corporation's stocks last Feb 1993 at prices ranging from $73 to $74 per share. The sale of an expected 50,000 more insider shares after a price rebound from depressed prices since Aug 1992 does not auger well for the computer and electronic manufacturing company. The trend indicates that the price increase is not expected to last and stock prices would soon fall.
