IPO plans sour on both sides of the pond

A number of companies on both sides of the Atlantic had to cancel their initial public offering (IPO) during the second quarter, due to the lack of investor confidence. Companies that could not wait to list due to the pressure to provide an exit to the original investors lowered their expectations and cut their pricing up to 60 percent to float on the stock exchange.

Cell-based cardiac repair rebuilds the injured heart from its component parts and related strategy as cardiac repair involves cell mobilization with factors such as cytokines. Translation of cell-based approaches to the clinic has progressed rapidly and clinical trials using autologous skeletal myoblasts and bone marrow cells are under way.
