Industry team announces Satcom program milestone

A Lockheed Martin Corporation/Northrop Grumman Corporation team has announced the completion of a major system design review of the Transformational Satellite Communications System (TSAT) Space Segment program. TSAT is designed to provide many users with wideband, highly mobile, beyond line-of-sight protected connectivity to support network-centric operations for the future battlefield.

First new cutter to be named for first Coast Guard commandant

The first new National Security Cutter (NSC) in the record Deepwater procurement program will be named after the first Coast Guard commandant. Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin Corporation have decided to name the NSC as Bertholf in honor of the first Coast Guard commandant.
