Inflation-busting pay hikes for FTSE 100 finance chiefs

The average remuneration of the finance directors (FDs) of the FTSE 100 companies continues to rise due to inflation by 6% increase in average remuneration. The survey of FTSE 100 FDs revealed that the average base salary for a FTSE 100 FD is 368,000 pound sterling and received an average annual bonus during the 2002-03 financial year of 289,000 pound sterling.
