Insurance companies are increasingly using risk management information systems (RMIS) for their needs and are adapting such systems for their operations. RMIS packages allow processing of various claims or view detailed data on a particular claim aside from offering analysis and reporting capabilities. Two systems are sometimes needed and integration may sometimes become a problem.
