The hidden plus to your portfolio
Article Abstract:
Investors can select stocks on the basis of fringe benefits that companies offer to stockholders, and they can save large amounts of money. The benefits are free of tax and include discounts on homes offered by builders, and discounts on kitchen cabinets and furniture from retailers of these products. Minimum stockholdings may be imposed, and where they are not the discount can offer especially good value. A number of leisure companies such as Friendly Hotels do not impose minimum stockholding requirements.
