Integrating cell-level kinetic modeling into the design of engineered protein therapeutics
Article Abstract:
The greater integration of kinetic mathematical modeling into the preclinical development of drug targets into protein biopharmaceuticals is discussed. The application of this paradigm to the evidence based generation of the target product profile used in drug development would reduce risk through improved quantitative understanding of the mechanisms of drug action.
