Intel Corp's Enterprise received a gold award in the equipment category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The Intel Enterprise is an applications-specific server designed to enhance the computer networks. An LCD screen that enables direct adjustments without the use of a workstation and the soft contours of the control buttons give a spare but elegant exterior to the Intel Enterprise. The design was the work of Ziba Design Inc of Portland, OR in collaboration with Intel Corp in-house designers John Archer and David Williams.
