Investigating Enron as a public private partnership
Article Abstract:
It is posited that deregulation in the American energy industries that occurred in the 1980s and 1990s fostered the development of Enron Corp.'s business model, which led to fiscal mismanagement and scandal. This business model is analyzed in terms of a public-private partnership in relation to such partnerships emerging in the United Kingdom.
