Article Abstract:

The Statement of Financial Accounting Standard No. 116 has helped these nonprofit organizations to compute the contributed services and contributed materials. Nevertheless, the statement was not able to require the valuation of donated services at fair value and inclusion as income. It also did not value donated materials at fair value and recognized them as revenue.
