Boeing Canard rotor/wing completes first hover flight

The X-50A Dragonfly, an unmanned hybrid airplane-helicopter made by the Boeing Co., completed its first hover flight which proves that the unusual X-50A technology works. The Dragonfly is 17.7 feet long and 6.5 feet high and weighs 1,460 pounds.
