Wolf Cameras Inc was established 25 years ago by Chuck Wolf. Wolf attributes his company's success to its total commitment to customer service. Wolf's customers are expected to have the 'best retail experiences ever' according to Chuck Wolf. Wolf said that his firm is not afraid to venture in new technologies such as the Advanced Photo System. When first offered, it was believed to be a replacement for film, but people realized that it was an alternative.

John Asa

Japan Camera Centre Ltd's John Asa, the founder of the 120-store photographic equipment retail business based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, has been chosen for the Photo Marketing Association International Hall of Fame Award. The award, the association's top honor, was given to Asa at PMA 99, the association's cconvention and trade show held in Las Vegas, NV. Japan Camera began as a 300-sq-ft camera store started by Asa and his brothers in 1959.
