Lockheed says redesign work won't mean missed schedule on VXX

Lockheed Martin Corp. and Agusta or Westland will meet Navy cost and scheduler requirements for the next generation Marine One VXX presidential transport helicopter, even though extensive redesign work must be performed on the aircraft. Lockheed is coordinating the work of all its U.S. team members, so as to keep the aircraft program on schedule, and to ensure that the subcontractors mesh well together.

Agusta Westland helicopter delivery to Denmark delayed a year

Agusta Westland will be delaying its delivery of helicopters by one year to the Denmark military forces, as it is busy in developing the U.S. presidential transport helicopter. The U.A. Navy has chosen Agusta Westland and Lockheed Martin Corp. helicopter, US10, which is based on the Agusta-Westland EH101 military helicopter, to build the next Marine One presidential helicopter.
