Miller Genuine Draft runs 'Blind Date" promotion

Miller Genuine Draft (MGD) has launched another "Blind Date" promotion that adds London, UK, as destination of the activity in 1998. Blind Date that allows winners to watch famous bands playing in small clubs is decorated with various on- and off-premise materials including display cards offering free posters, danglers, case cards with sweepstakes entry forms and other display enhancers such as microphone-shaped tap handles and band name match cards. The new Blind Date promotion was revived because of its success in 1997 according to MGD Brand Director Bruce Winterton.

DreamWorks launches promos for 'Shrek'

DreamWorks Consumer Products' release of the computer animated comedy, 'Shrek,' is supported by a promotional campaign. The company's partners in this campaign include Burger King, Chevron, heinz, American Licorice and Baskin Robbins. Burger King will offer 10 collectible Shrek kids premiums, while Baskin-Robbins will offer an eight-week promotion featuring Shrek- themed ice cream flavors.
