Monetary convergence of the EU accession countries to the eurozone: a theoretical framework and policy implications
Article Abstract:
An analysis of methods to target inflation in European Union accession countries to facilitate both the economic transition and monetary convergence is furnished. The effects on inflation and selected monetary variables are analyzed from the perspective of the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary.

Does speed kill? Lending booms and their consequences in Croatia
Article Abstract:
The effects of rapid lending by the banks on currencies, credit quality and foreign debts are analyzed from a case study of Croatian banks. Suggestions are offered to prevent the crash of the banks after such lending.
