More controversy behind Skynet
Article Abstract:
Skynet was floated in Jun 1996 on Ofex and five large shareholders have sold stakes following a price rise. The company aims to launch a vehicle security service. Skynet was set up by Bob Yorke and the company's system was invented by Moegan Birkelund. The shareholders who have sold stakes include Tom Wilmot who was previously involved in launching companies in the 1980s through Harvard Securities. Many of these companies later collapsed despite a rise in their share prices.
