Hunter: Senate should focus on war, not scandal
Article Abstract:
Rep. Duncan Hunter, the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee criticized that the upper chamber was too preoccupied with the Abu Ghraib prisoner abusing scandal to push through a proper war-spending bill. His committee has worked to prepare a detailed budget to insure that the military has adequate funds to cover the operations in Iraq and Afghanistan rather than involving in such scandals.
