Article Abstract:
AAI Engineering Support, Inc., Hunt Valley, Md., is being awarded a $14,344,978 fixed-price-award-fee delivery order to provide life cycle contractor support services for command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) devices for the U.S. Army. These services will include training device maintenance, repair of repairables, supply support, engineering support, post deployment software support, and site operational support. Work will be performed at 53 sites worldwide, including Army installations located in the United States, Korea, Germany, and Italy, and is expected to be completed by May 2000. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via electronic solicitation and five offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-99-D-0007).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Tactical Aircraft Systems, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $7,597,327 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0038 for the Training System Technology Maturation effort for the Joint Strike Fighter program. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (42%); Akron, Ohio (26%); Orlando, Fla. (17%); and El Segundo, Calif. (15%), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
