National Airmotive Corp., Oakland, Calif., is being awarded a $35,542,810 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the major and minor repairs of the Navy's T-56-A-14 engine which powers the P-3B/C aircraft, the T-56-A-16 engine that powers the C-130 aircraft, and the T-56-A-425 engine which powers the C-2A and E-2C aircraft. Work will be performed in Oakland, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 18 firms solicited and six offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-98-D-0175).
