Tracor Systems Technology, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $6,960,841 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-97-C-5022 to exercise an option to provide an estimated level-of-effort of 217,000 man-hours of technical and engineering services to support the design, development, installation, integration, test and evaluation, certification, maintenance, and logistics support of combat and communications systems in support of the Navy's Shipbuilding and Conversion and Communication/Electronic programs. Work will be performed in California, Md. (50%), and Lexington Park, Md. (50%), and is expected to be completed in September 1999. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.
