Article Abstract:
Raytheon Technical Services Co., Las Vegas, Nevada, is being awarded a $15,873,118 fixed-price-award-fee for life cycle contractor support services contract for the family of battlefield mobility/target acquisition training devices, to include the synthetic flight training systems and the synthetic flight research systems (flight simulators), aviation and transportation occupational skills training devices and non-systems training devices. Services will be provided for several U.S. Army commands (97.5%) and for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2.5%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Fort Rucker Ala. (17.7%), Camp Humphreys, South Korea (6.6%), Fort Campbell, Kentucky (6%), Marana, Ariz. (6%), Hanau, Germany (5.7%), Fort Eustis, Va. (5.2%), Fort Hood, Texas (5%), Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. (4.7%), Seoul, Republic of Korea (4.5%), Fort Bragg, N.C. (4.4%), Fort Riley, Kansas (3.5%), Illesheim, Germany (3.5%), Fort Wainwright, Ark. (3.3%), Fort Lewis, Wash. (3.3%), Fort Carson, Colo. (2.8%), Hunter Army Air Field, Ga. (2.6%), King Khalid Military City, Saudi Arabia (2.5%), Los Alamitos, Calif. (2.4%), Peoria, Ill. (2.3%), Wheeler Army Air Field, Hawaii (2%), Mannheim, Germany (2.3%), Fort Belvoir, Va. (1.3%), Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass. (1.1%), Camp Ripley, Minn. (1%), and Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. (.3%)., and is expected to be completed in January 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $15,155,998 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through electronic solicitation and five offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61339-99-C-0014).

Boeing North American, Inc., Guidance Navigation and Sensors, Anaheim, Calif., is being awarded a $10,975,939 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order to repair 112 electronically suspended gyro navigation inertial measuring units used for the navigation of submarines. Work will be performed in Anaheim, Calif., and is expected to be completed in June 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00104-90-G-A016) (Order 0050).
