Article Abstract:
Tracor Systems Technology, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $7,818,084 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-96-C-5225 to exercise an option to provide an estimated level of effort of 252,384 man-hours of technical and engineering services in support of naval special warfare programs; C3/C#I/C4I programs for the government of Egypt under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program; surveillance directional systems; the Special Operations Forces programs; Navy/Special Operating Forces Aviation programs; counter narcotics programs; Navy/Special Operating Forces ship, shore, and combat programs; and federal agency programs. Work will be performed at Chesapeake, Va. (45%), San Diego, Calif. (23%), Fayetteville, N.C. (17%), El Paso, Texas (10%), and California, Md. (5%), and is expected to be completed in September 1999. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Div., St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

This contract modification increases the value of the basic contract to a cumulative value of $45,075,196.
