Article Abstract:
The Boeing Co. Inc., Monrovia, Calif., is being awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) with a cumulative total of $22,966,102, to repair and rebuild KIOWA Warrior Depot Level Maintenance Facilities. Work will be performed in Anaheim, Calif. (10%); Ft. Bragg, N.C. (31%); Ft. Hood, Texas (10%); Schofield Barracks, Hawaii (8%); Coleman Barracks, Germany (31%); and Camp Stanley, Korea (10%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2003. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 28, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-99-D-0001).

Bechtel National Inc., San Francisco, Calif., is being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $305,589,159 cost-plus-award-fee contract for construction, operation and closure at the Aberdeen Chemical Agent Disposal Facility. The project will include construction, equipment installation, systemization, operation, and closure of the facility. Work will be performed in Aberdeen, Md., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. There were 300 bids solicited on Nov. 17, 1997, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-C-0080).
