U.S. sells more defense wares abroad than it buys overseas
Article Abstract:
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has revealed that the US Department of Defense (DOD) sells far more goods abroad than it purchases from foreign defense contractors. The GAO report has come as one more element of a year-long debate in Congress as to whether the DOD should buy its defense wares from foreign suppliers or stick on to buy American policy.
