Northern Recruitment Group (NRG) has issued two upgrades for its profit forecast, but the company's stock price has dropped since the company issued interim results. The company reported a rise in profit of 37% to 1 million pounds sterling for the half year to Dec 1997. NRG should achieve a profit of 2.4 million pounds for 1997 to 1998. The company is based in Newcastle, England, with two thirds of the major 200 companies in the region as its clients. The company has acquired KFJ Holdings which has given it exposure to Scotland.
