Northrop Grumman 4Q income soars; Boeing profit slumps
Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman Corp., the third largest defense contractor, has reported that its net income increased to 61.7 percent to $296 million in October through December 2004 and its sales were $7.8 billion in the fourth quarter of 2004. Boeing Co., the second-largest military contractor, has reported that it's net income decreased to 83.6 percent to just $186 million in the final quarter of 2004.

Raytheon posts hefty profit; Boeing tops major firms in results
Article Abstract:
The Boeing Co., as compared to the third quarter of 2003, posted the largest percentage profit increase of the top six defense contractors during July 2004, as Pentagon procurement programs powered lush times for the defense industry. Raytheon Co. achieved a sterling showing, $152 million net income profit during July 2004, contrasted with a $35 million loss in the third quarter of 2003.
