E I du Pont de Nemours and Co's Marketing Excellence Recognition program was launched in 1986 to promote innovation and creativity among the company's marketing staff. The low-cost awards program has helped the company set marketing benchmarks and, in the process, increase earnings. Marketing executives report that winning efforts have generated hundred of millions of dollars for the company yearly.

Du Pont, Polaroid Top Pro-Comm Honors

Many of the winners of the Business/Professional Advertising Associations's (B/PAA) Ninth Annual International Pro-Comm awards went to company's located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. Polaroid Corp. and Du Pont each won three Best of Division awards. Scott Paper Company won two Best of Division awards.
