Ownership structure and firm value: New evidence from Spain
Article Abstract:
New evidences are derived on the influence of ownership structure on firm value from a study of Spanish firms. Findings reinforce the monitoring and expropriation effect, and the convergence-of-interest and entrenchment impact, which indicate that Spanish insiders are established at very high ownership levels.
