Article Abstract:
The preliminary findings of a joint study conducted by the Bank Administration Institute and PSI Consulting titled 'Profiting from Change in the U.S. Payments System' reveals the status of electronic payment systems in the US. The volume of electronic payments is expected to increase with the rise in personal computer ownership and the growing acceptance for electronic media such as credit cards. In addition, intermediary services have been formed to assist small businesses in converting to electronic commerce. 65% of US households are expected to utilize some form of electronic payment by the year 2000. As a result, companies such as First USA Inc and Banc One Corp are adopting changes designed to enhance their competitiveness in the industry.

Photoplay world games 2004: The hills were indeed alive
Article Abstract:
The PhotoPlay World Games 2004 were held in Alpbach, Austria at the Alpbach Congress Centre from March 25-27. The games were a huge success with 400 people from 17 nations attending the event, which was opened in the Olympics games style. The first prize was shared by Switzerland and Italy.
