Absolute Protein Expression profiling is described that uses statistical inference and statistics to predict proteotypic peptides and incorporate information on the repeated sampling of spectra from each protein in a shotgun proteomics experiment. Computational prediction of proteotypic peptides will expand the scope of proteomic discovery in species for which the full genomic complement is characterized.

Single-chain antibodies against a plant viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase confer virus resistance
Article Abstract:
A new approach is made to achieve virus resistance depending on the single-chain Fv fragments (scFvs) in opposition to the preserved domain in a plant viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) that is an important enzyme in the process to duplicate virus. To fight the plant viruses in addition to the virus resistance method depending on the antibodies, RdRps also provides ways to fight the same.
