Personal legitimising: A perspective of marketing management
Article Abstract:
Personal legitimising is the way individuals manoeuvre situations to suit their own agenda. The use of personal legitimising to influence marketing activites is explained. It features two behaviour groupings, 'obstructing existing marketing activity, and ' driving new marketing activity'. The links between personal legitimising and the marketing activity of an organization was based on a grounded theory research strategy.
