Poking a BYTE of F.U.N
Article Abstract:
Technical language concerning computers is not advisable when dealing with the layman. Accountants have a tendency to flaunt technological jargon when dealing with the uninitiated. Alternate terms are discussed for hands- on, end-user, hand-copy and boot. Mnemonics, or the use of initials, is another problem. Examples of these are BASIC, LISA, CLIP and UFO. Language is for communication, not show.
