Fit for yuppies
Article Abstract:
Physical fitness has become as important in British yuppies' lives as it is for US counterparts. Health club membership has significantly increased over the past few years. Membership costs range from initial fees of 25-100 pounds sterling to yearly subscriptions of 150-550 pounds sterling. The modes of exercise are the same as in the American model: aerobics, squash, swimming, weight-lifting, jacuzzis, saunas, or individualized training programs.
