Promoting angiogenesis to a fault
Article Abstract:
Researchers have shown that the Delta-like ligand 4 (Dll4)/Notch signaling pathway is an important regulator of tumor angiogenesis that can inhibit tumors by promoting the growth of defective vessels if inactivated. The studies have provided evidence that targeting the Dll4/Notch pathway might lead to new therapies for clinical investigation.
