RNAi-mediated pathways in the nucleus
Article Abstract:
The RNA interference (RNAi) is an evolutionarily conserved mechanism that uses short antisense RNAs that are generated by 'dicing' dsRNA precursors to target corresponding mRNAs for cleavage. The role of RNA in defense against invasive sequences, transposons and related repeats are preferred natural targets of the RNAi-mediated silencing pathways in the nucleus.

Silencing the sceptics
Article Abstract:
A study to prove that RNA interference (RNAi) is a potential approach to treating the disease is performed. The results reveal that in the vivo silencing by siRNA of an endogenous gene through an RNAi mechanism that could be applied to humans using an administrative route.

Synthetic shRNAs as potent RNAi triggers
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine whether transfection of optimized Dicer substrates results in an improved RNA interference (RNAi) response. The result showed that synthetic 29-mer short hairpin RNAs (shRNAs) to be more potent inducers of RNAi than small interfering RNAs.
