Regulators one step behind on derivatives

A general awareness of the risks involved in credit derivatives has brought regulators under pressure to impose strict constraints on the market. Standardized Master Service Agreements, for credit operators and contracts, are established by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), which operate in 39 countries.

Numerous small sized companies, that entered the Chinese market, are facing a wide range of problems ranging from corruption to obtaining permits. However, with persistence and right strategies, Chinese markets may yet prove to be the best bet.
