Robbing Peter to pay Paul
Article Abstract:
A biotech company's decision to buy back its own shares is like a decision to invest cash presently to buy back shares that may be worth more in the future, when the company can reissue the same share for more money. The action is similar to that of 'robbing Peter to pay Paul', where one hand gives stock options to employees, while the other buys back stock to mask that dilution of investors' interest.

Biotechs for pennies?
Article Abstract:
Most of the shares of biotech companies that are sold in the United States stock markets are priced at very low rates. While purchasing shares of low stock price one should evaluate all the risks involved as the low price may indicate its vulnerability to manipulation and could also mean that the business was in danger of failure and could be delisted.

Bargains in the basement
Article Abstract:
The biotech company Gene Logic started in 2003 with the pharmacogenomics information business by having the contract for services to help the preclinical and clinical tests in the different drug companies. If the company is cash neutral and the stock price is nearer to cash per share it would be a much more secured investment.
