Foreigners living in the United Kingdom have tax advantages if they are officially domiciled elsewhere. Domicile is roughly defined as the country in which individuals have their permanent home. The laws governing domicile are complex and an individual's status can change easily. Other tax considerations include the location of assets and remittances, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax, dual contracts, and excluded property trust.
