Komag Inc is the top independent supplier of sputtered, thin-film, high-capacity data storage disks. Six insiders disposed of 51,240 shares at the range of $21.75 to $23.75 last Mar 1993. The significance of the sales lies in its similarity with the Dec 1992 sales prior to Pres Bill Clinton's proposed tax reform. Four of the sellers last Mar 1993, however, sold more shares than they did last Dec 1992. The timing of the sales is commendable as the price have since declined to the $17 level.
