Prime People recruits waitresses and managers for the hotel industry and has seen a rise in profit of over 100% for 1998, benefiting from a boost to activity in leisure and hotels in the United kingdom. Prime People holds a 46.5% stake in Cameron Kennedy, a recruitment concern, and could carry out acquisitions as well as growing organically. The company's profit is forecast to rise to 450,000 pounds sterling for 1st half 1999 compared with 217,000 pounds for the same period in 1998, and profit for 2000 is forecast at between 1.2 million pounds sterling and 1.4 million pounds.
