For example, Bedding Plants Inc. isa 13-year old organization of about 3500 growers currently considering a national campaign. The American Association of Nurseryman's PR budget for this year is $311,000.

The big mower safety story: it's in the dealers' hands

Distributors of the 1983 lawn mowers are hoping that retailers will sell the new safety features of the equipment. Retailers are split on their decision as to whether to carry any noncompliance mowers, those that were manufactured before recent CPSC safety requirements. The blade-brake clutch mower will be heavily marketed this season.
