Siebe
Article Abstract:
Siebe is a control systems engineer which has been successful in generating cash and has a widely respected management. There are some doubts as to whether such a strong financial performance can continue. The company, like many engineering firms, treats some development costs as assets, and this affects bonuses of the company's bosses. Control Systems is a fast-growing division of Siebe which has benefited from the strong performance of the Foxboro's Intelligent Automation system, but the lead this system has over competitors appears to have narrowed.
