Michael Potts of the Bleasdale winery situated at Longhorne Creek represents the fifth generation of the Potts involved in making wine from grapes that grow in the scorching conditions. The Bleasdale winery's 2000 'Mulberry Tree' Cabernet was ranked the Best Aussie under $15 by 'Wine Spectator' in the United States and the 1999 'Bremerview' Shiraz received a gold award amongst a class of 450 wines.
