Sorrell pitches for Tempus deal

UK advertising group WPP has bid 555p per share for media-buying firm Tempus, topping Havas' 541p per share bid. However, analysts are divided over whether WPP Chief Exec Sir Martin Sorrell really wants Tempus, or is merely trying to get Havas to up its bid. WPP owns 22% of Tempus.
