Spae futures and human security
Article Abstract:
An international Seminar on Space Futures and Human Security was held by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs and the Government of Austria. It concentrated on space technologies and their role in the future of human security. Areas for cooperation in space science and its enhancement of human security, such as natural resource management and environmental monitoring, were discussed.

Current concerns in the space insurance market
Article Abstract:
This article examines the difficulty insurance companies have in determining risk and loss in the space insurance market. What makes this especially difficult is the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) that protects the disclosure of technology, but does not allow insurers to assess risk to satellites.
