Surveillance critical in Iraq, Afghanistan
Article Abstract:
Surveillance is a crucial part of warfare and is increasingly important to U.S. forces battling insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan. The need for aerial scouting has placed an additional burden on the Marine Corps fleet of light transport and attack helicopters, already strained more than other forces by the demand to move troops and protect bases and convoys in hostile territory.

Navy considering second private aerial tanker
Article Abstract:
The Navy has appreciated the services provided by Omega Air Force Inc.'s KC-707 flight tanker, to the carrier squadrons during overseas deployments. The Navy is considering getting additional budget money to buy a second aircraft to support flight training on the West Coast.
